Fifteen years of architectural education in Miercurea Ciuc29.10.2014 | Education
The Nagy István Art High School of Miercurea Ciuc presented 15 years of architectural education in photographs. The school is also celebrating its students currently present at the Venice Biennale. The exposition sponsored by RMDSZ MEP Csaba Sógor was opened on the 28th of October and can be seen by the public in the windows of the movie theatre and the shopping centre on the Majláth Gusztáv Károly square.
MEP Csaba Sógor – who sponsored both the anniversary exhibition and the participation of the students at the Biennale – said during his opening speech: the largest political family of the European Parliament, the European People’s Party, supports several great initiatives such as this one. The unemployment rate among young people is dangerously high in some member states. It reaches up to 60% in Spain or Greece for example. ”The reason behind these numbers is in education. Young people should rebel and dream, but they also need to be taught to be creative and change this world through their innovation and creativity”, pointed out the RMDSZ MEP.
